A new and modern church is planned at Ålgård. The church building comprises two floors totalling 1 550 m², and is planned as a signature building in the city centre, and will accommodate various activities. The congregation is working on a possible extension of the basement by approx. 400 m², to be be used for children's and youngster's activities. Service providers shall include options (prices) for future furnishings/fittings of extension(s).

Site: The church shall be built on a site close to the old church in the centre of Ålgård. The site adjoins the cemetery. The excavation work is planned to start up in the Summer of 2013, with completion of the church building during 2014. Norconsult is acting as construction manager. The work shall be implemented as enterprises controlled by construction manager (16 enterprises).

This contract comprises timber work including façade/ceiling lights, tinsmith work and interior tiling work.
