The renovation and expansion of the St. Vinzenz children's home and the construction of a new nursery with parking deck at Kirchstraße 3 in 76547 Sinzheim are planned.
The municipality of Sinzheim is planning the renovation of the St. Vincent children's home. In this context, an extension is also to be built. The children's home includes two existing buildings, which are to be renovated and connected by the construction of a new building.
For this measure, a feasibility study with determination of a cost framework is available. The feasibility study has shown that the existing structure is in good condition and can be adapted to the current fire protection requirements with a reasonable effort.
Architecturally, the challenge is to design three different parts of the building in such a way that a house with a defined address and the most unmistakable appearance possible is created, which reflects the use to the outside. The diversity of the three buildings can become part of the design concept. A spatial programme has already been agreed and approved within the administration.
The start of planning for the renovation and also the new building is to take place from May 2023. However, the implementation is planned in separate phases. First, the new building is to be built in 2024/2025 and the renovation is to be carried out by 2026 with a short time overrun. Implementation depends on the approval of the budget. As a result, a step-by-step commissioning will take place.
The cost framework (as of December 2021) amounts to:
