A fire engine (crew vehicle) shall be procured for Fosnes Fire and Rescue Service. The vehicle shall be new or a recent second hand fire engine, not older than a 2016 model. Max. km on the clock, 30 000.

The most possible standard systems are required. Tenderers can present individual solution proposals and adaptations for interior and for placing the equipment; both fixed and movable equipment.

The vehicle shall i.a.:

— comply with current regulations for emergency vehicles,

— comply with requirements given by the authority for Euro-class 6 and emissions,

— provide optimum safety for the crew,

— have 4-wheel drive,

— have an automatic gearbox,

— have an engine performance suitable to the function requirements in the requirement specifications,

— have room in the cabin for 5 persons including the driver,

— have a standard chassis.
