Fjuel Tromsø AS will assemble and operate 2 land electricity installations for ships at quay 8 Prostneset/the port terminal in Tromsø, and has received support from Enova for this.

- development of 4MW low voltage land electricity for different types of ships, including low voltage portable cable drum

- development of 4MW high voltage land electricity for cruise ships and other large ships, including a portable cable handling unit with automatic connection mechanics for high voltage.

The procurement includes necessary deliveries from the connection point at the network company (Arva AS) to the cable handling system on the quayside. The actual land electricity installations are to be situated indoors in a technical room in the port terminal. From here the cables will be laid in a cable ladder and in an OPI channel to the quay cupboard that is located on the quayside. 1 low voltage cable handling unit is to be delivered, and, as an option, 1 high voltage portable cable handling unit. Ground work is not included in this contract.
