The Tenderer will be requested to submit Asbestos Removal & Remediation rates for carrying out the service to properties within the Wrekin Housing Trust's management area. The total number of properties is approximately 12 000. There is no anticipation that all the properties will require removal/remediation over the term of the contract. The figures for each area will reduce over the life of the Contract as a result of RTB sales (approx 4 per week) across the Management area.

The tender will be priced on the basis of a Schedule of Rates covering asbestos removal & remediation works, both licensed and non licensed, including possible reinstatements.

The successful tenderer will be expected to work with the Trust on these process improvements and where necessary amend there own internal processes to support the requirements of the Trust. For example the Trust will expect electronic data uploading to its main housing system. As part of the Trust Environmental commitments this process will be handled via online applications only, no paper copies will be accepted.
