Description:
Building and medical technology planning for the Bonifatius Hospital Lingen, new construction and renovation of the care and functional areas, 4th BA

The Bonifatius Hospital Lingen gGmbH intends in a 4th construction phase services of building and medical technology planning acc. §§ 34, 55 Anlagegruppe 7 HOAI (2013).

With the 4th construction phase to be commissioned, the target planning from 2012 will be transferred to the target planning 2018. The removal of spatially organizational deficits as well as the emergence of a mother-child center with external access are key points of the 4th construction phase.

With the area-wide enlargement of the central emergency department and cardiological functional diagnostics, organizational processes are to be improved and unnecessary waiting times for patients avoided. Particularly noteworthy is the need for the spatial expansion of the geriatric department, in order to better meet the larger space requirements of older multimorbid patients (early mobilization and rehabilitation), but especially for those with dementia (therapy and accompanying rooms at the ward).

The Bonifatius Hospital Lingen is an emergency hospital with 20 specialized medical departments and 451 beds.

The previous structural target planning was based on the stationary performance planning until 2015. While around 20,000 inpatients were treated in 2015, by 2019 there will be over 22,000 patients. In the performance prognosis, the hospital's supervisor expects to treat about 25,000 inpatients in the Bonifatius Hospital in 2025. Today, spatial extensions in the clinical area are urgently needed. A first room and function program, which still has to be reconciled with the state of Lower Saxony, indicates a shortfall of around 7,500 m 2 Usable area. Therefore, new and expansion projects are planned.

The client therefore intends, in order to remedy the area deficit and to improve the process organization and the roadside operating theater and intensive care unit, at Bonifatius Hospital Lingen, Wilhelmstraße 13, 49808 Lingen, to implement the following measures:

1) Extension of the central operating room by 2 operating rooms and ancillary rooms in the 1st floor of house A;

2) Expansion of the preoperative recording unit;

3) Removal of the central sterile supply in the first floor of house A (about 120 m 2 Extension);

4) Extension of the central emergency room in EC building A (about 200 m 2 NF);

5) Construction of a 4th delivery room in the 3rd floor of the B building;

6) Extension cardiological function diagnostics z. Z. in the ground house C;

7) Extension of non-invasive pneumological diagnostics z. Z. in the ground house C;

8) extension and reconstruction of geriatrics, inter alia, for the accommodation of dementia sufferers;

9) New and expansion of the intensive care unit with relocation of the operating room level (24 planned beds);

10) extension of the recovery room;

11) creation of a mother-child center;

12) extension of staff change;

13) extension of the staff dining room;

14) Extension clinical doctor service (about 500 m 2 );

15) Extension doctor's office at the hospital (about 800 m 2 ).
