Kommunale Fuhrparkservice Potsdam GmbH (KFP) provides the tasks of fleet management for the state capital Potsdam (LHP), which also includes workshop services. The vehicles are predominantly owned by KFP and are made available to LHP for use by means of individual rental agreements. KfP has so far provided the workshop services in a property rented by the city's own company Kommunaler Immobilien Service (KIS). The lease has been terminated with effect from 31.12.2021.
Currently, there is no location where KFP could continue to provide the services. However, it is intended to acquire/rent an alternative location in a timely manner on which a workshop is to be set up to provide the workshop services.
For the transition phase until the planned use of an alternative location has been implemented, the workshop services are to be transferred to a third party by means of a framework agreement.
- workshop services to carry out the inspections and maintenance/repair work specified by the manufacturer,
- repair work,
- Testing services (TÜV, UVV, safety testing, etc.)
- Assembly/disassembly of accessories,
- Regular wheel/tyre change, etc.
The object of the aforementioned services is also the organization of the provision of services, in particular the organization of appointments and deadline management, the procurement of accessories and spare parts, assembly / disassembly of accessories, vehicle stickers (warning marking, company-specific stickers, special stickers) as well as other services such as pick-up and delivery services as well as the provision of workshop replacement cars and minor on-site repairs.
The aforementioned services are to be provided for the currently approx. 450 vehicles and devices of the KFP fleet. These are, in particular:
- Passenger cars (combustion engine, electric and hybrid drive)
- Commercial vehicles and trucks
- Construction vehicles (such as excavators, tractors, wheel loaders, etc.)
- Special vehicles (such as fire brigade, ambulance)
- Boats and motor boats
- Bicycles and e-bikes
- Accessories (such as trailers and superstructures)
