This procurement concerns the delivery of household waste and operational waste for incineration (energy recovery) and, where applicable, waste delivery for landfill (landfill).
The client is subject to the Municipal Waste Management Ordinance and the Waste Ordinance (2011: 927).
Pajala municipality will transport all waste from Pajala central city to the receiving station with cargo exchange pipeline with three containers about 40 m3 each.
This procurement does not include delivery of environmentally hazardous fractions or food waste.
Extent
Waste amounts vary from year to year, but during the 2018 fiscal year, waste amounts to:
Household waste about 1,200 tonnes
Operational waste about 550 tonnes
Landfill about 120 tons
Quantities may vary and are no guarantee.
Depending on the season and type of waste, the frequency of deliveries varies.
Pajala Municipality's deliveries take place through cargo exchange exchanges and can be done both with own resources but also by contract.
Agreement Term
The contract period is expected to take effect from 1.1.2020 - 31.12.2022 (3 years) with the possibility for the client to extend the contract period for another two years (2 years) with the same contract terms. Renewal of the contract must be notified in writing to the supplier at least 6 months before the contract expires.
