This procurement procedure is for the award of 3 single framework contract(s) for the provision of engineering support for detailed engineering design and safety studies in the area of HCPB-TBS (Helium Cooled Pebble Bed-Test Blanket System).


Lot 1: Preliminary Design and Pre-Final Design of HCPB TBM Set — Analysis and Design Validation

The subject of Lot 1 is the services related to engineering design activities needed to achieve the preliminary and pre-final design stages in line with the F4E and ITER IO specifications for one Test Blanket Module Set (TBM), namely the HCPB (Helium Cooled Pebble Bed).


Lot 2: Preliminary Design of the HCPB-TBS Ancillary Systems

The subject of Lot 2 is the implementation of the engineering activities requested for developing the design of the HCPB-TBS (Helium Cooled Pebble Bed Test Blanket System) ancillary systems in the Preliminary Design phase.


Lot 3: HCPB-TBS Transient and Accidental Analyses and Safety Studies

The subject of Lot 3 is the services related to transient, accidental analysis and safety studies conducted in order to optimize the TBS (Test Blanket Module System) performances, to integrate the TBS within the ITER complex environment, and to demonstrate compliance with ITER requirements and safety constraints as well as with French European regulations.
