The decommissioned pipeline and stations will be removed by another contractor. The scope of work comprises the following main activities.
1) Design and construction of approximately 26 km new 30” 80 bar Gas Transmission Pipeline.
2) Design and construction of 3 new Line Valve Stations.
3) Design and construction of cable duct and fibre optical cable along 26 km pipeline including inspection wells for each 5 km.
4) Design and construction of approximately 400 m new 30” 80 bar Gas Transmission Pipeline at Blommenslyst.
5) Tie-in of the new pipeline sections to the existing Gas Transmission System at 4 locations (TP1-2-3-4).

The Danish government has decided to build a new highspeed electrified railway on West Funen. The new railway track shall be in a ‘transport corridor’ and will be build alongside the existing motorway E20 between Middelfart and Odense. The existing gas transmission line is in that corridor hence the pipeline must be re-routed North of the corridor. The decommissioned pipeline and stations will be removed by another contractor.
