This contract is a joint contract within the meaning of Articles 48 et seq. Of the Law of 17.6.2016 on public contracts. This contract involves the conclusion of various insurance contracts for the municipality of Awans and the Public Social Action Center.

The market covers insurance contracts covering the following branches:

- component 1: material damage insurance:

—— sub-component 1: fire and related perils insurance,

—— sub-component 2: electronic comprehensive insurance,

—— sub-component 3: value insurance,

—— sub-component 4: comprehensive machinery breakdown insurance,

—— sub-component 5: all-risk insurance,

- part 2: civil liability insurance:

—— sub-component 1: general liability insurance,

—— sub-section 2: liability insurance for agents,

—— sub-component 3: strict liability insurance in the event of fire and explosion,

—— sub-component 4: school and extracurricular insurance, municipal reception and childcare center,

—— sub-component 5: civil liability and bodily accident insurance for the municipal children's council,

—— sub-section 6: professional civil liability insurance for architects,

—— sub-section 7: private life liability insurance for asylum seekers and people with social difficulties accommodated by the CPAS,

—— sub-component 8: civil liability and bodily accident insurance various activities organized by the Municipality of Awans,

- section 3: Work accident insurance:

—— sub-component 1: occupational accident insurance for staff, mayor, president of the CPAS and Aldermen,

—— sub-component 2: bodily insurance for municipal councilors and the CPAS,

- component 4: automobile insurance:

—— sub-component 1: civil liability insurance, material damage and legal protection and drivers,

—— sub-component 2: comprehensive insurance for service missions,

- component 5: all-risk insurance for construction sites, subscription and ten-year:

—— sub-component 1: all-risk construction site insurance,

—— sub-component 2: ten-year insurance.

Optional: all-risk construction site subscription and ten-year insurance,

—— sub-component 3: guaranteed insurance C1 and C2.

Contract reserved for a specific professional category: this contract is reserved for insurance companies approved by the FSMA (formerly the Banking, Finance and Insurance Commission). The following are excluded from participation in the market:

1. the candidate who will not provide proof of the aforementioned approval,

2. offers from insurance brokers and intermediaries.

The contracting authority considers essential the relationship of trust which must govern the execution of this public insurance contract, in particular as regards support in matters of defense and recourse during a dispute.
