As part of an international research project, FAIR GmbH is planning the construction of the new accelerator complex “FAIR” (Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research) - hereinafter referred to as FAIR project - with a connection to the existing GSI accelerator facility.

The subject of the present tender procedure is the services for the thermal insulation composite and thermal insulation works in external air-carrying shafts as well as in rooms (VE_300-053).

The object of the contract is the execution of external thermal insulation composite and thermal insulation work in external air-carrying shafts as well as in rooms in the new building of the International Accelerator Center FAIR with the installation of thermal insulation layers and ETICS as well as scaffolding work for installation.

The main services are:

- Approx. 1250 m² ETICS with foam glass panels in entire air-conducting shafts, heights approx. from 8.00 m to 25.00 m, insulation layer thickness 60mm

- Approx. 800 m² ETICS with foam glass panels in the interior, heights up to approx. 8.00 m, insulation layer thickness 60mm

- Approx. 1700 m² ETICS with mineral fibre insulation boards, over the entire surface and in some areas as flank insulation, heights up to approx. 10.00 m, insulation layer thickness up to 60mm

- Approx. 250 m² stuffing by means of insulating boards made of mineral wool, insulation layer thickness up to 60mm
