The objective of the CEA is to acquire an electron beam evaporator dedicated to the manufacture of superconducting circuits with Josephson junctions. The aim is to produce reliable and reproducible Josephson junctions with different transparencies as well as long-lived Josephson quantum bits of the Transmon type.
The services are described in the CEA Technical Specifications referenced in Article 2 above, and are broken down as follows:
- supply of equipment including factory inspections and tests and submission of the associated report,
- packaging and delivery to the premises of the Collège de France,
- assembly, connection and installation in the premises of the Collège de France,
- on-site inspections and tests,
- the supply of all the documents necessary for the operation, maintenance and upkeep of the equipment,
- training in the use of the equipment,
- the guarantee of the equipment for a period of 36 months from receipt.
