The HSE National Medicinal Product Catalogue (NMPC) is seeking a vendor for the provision of a Vendor Managed ICT solution to support the activities of the service. This includes development/delivery of a solution, infrastructure and an ongoing ICT managed service. Throughout the procurement documents this overall ICT provision is referred to as the ‘NMPC Data Management Solution’. The National Medicinal Product Catalogue (NMPC) Service delivers the HSE’s national public dictionary/catalogue of descriptions and identifiers which represent medicinal products (in line with NMPC editorial scope) in use across the Irish healthcare environment. Once enabled by the required ICT, the National Medicinal Product Catalogue will support national (and cross border – EU and other cross border initiatives) medicines semantic interoperability through this standardised information.
