Stara, the City of Helsinki Construction Services Business Administration, shall request your tender for timber and construction plates in accordance with this call for tender and the accompanying documents.

Acquisition is a procurement of goods.

The acquisition will come into use by Stara's production units.

The tender forms are attached to this call for tender (Appendix 1 Timber and Annex 2 Building boards).

A draft contract is attached (Annex 3).

The acquisition is subject to timber and construction boards to be acquired for Stara's production units.

The most commonly sourced products are sawn, impregnated and planed timber, and wood-based construction boards.

The offer must be made from timber and construction boards (both product categories).

The bidder must have at least three stores containing a pick-up yard in the metropolitan area (Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa). One pick-up store must be in Helsinki.

The acquisition amounts presented in the invitation to tender are estimates and the contract does not constitute a quantity obligation for the subscriber.

Separate bids may be requested for larger purchase volumes.

The subscriber selects one (1) vendor with which it enters into a framework agreement.
