The Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications is looking for a supplier for the provision of support to draft the 2nd Statutory NAF, in order to align the NAF to existing and emerging policy areas at national, EU and International level as well as legal requirements set out in climate legislation. The successful tenderer will need to undertake significant engagement with relevant stakeholders as part of the contract.

Also integral to the drafting of the 2nd NAF, is a requirement to update in parallel existing national guidance for the development of Sectoral Adaptation Plans in line with recommendations contained in the 2022 Review of NAF. These Guidelines will be used by Government Departments to draft sectoral adaptation plans prepared under the NAF. This work is integrally linked to the successful implementation of the NAF and will also need to be accounted for in the tender.
