Lot 2 of plant engineering announced here includes the planning, delivery, construction and commissioning of the necessary equipment for operating a heat pump system and optionally according to current planning of a steam turbine plant for generating district heating and electricity in Berlin as part of the higher-level project Sewage Water Heat Pump/ müVA Steam turbine in Berlin.
In addition to the aforementioned lot 2, the issuing body intends to award the execution in 4 further partial lots:
- Lot 1 heat pump system (EU contract notice 2021/S 148-395117)
- Lot 3 construction technology (execution planning, all structural engineering measures for the construction of the engine house and the introductory building)
- Lot 4 sewage pressure pipeline (to supply the heat pump with purified wastewater)
- Lot 5 steam turbine generator set (including auxiliary systems)
Sewage Water Heat Pump/MuEva Steam Turbine (SHP/MST) — Lot 2 Plant EngineeringThe client intends to build a heat pump and (according to current planning) a steam turbine plant at the Reuter West site in Berlin.
The entire procurement project is divided into 5 main lots:
Lot 1: heat pump plant (EU contract notice 2021/S 148-395117)
Lot 2: Plant engineering
Lot 3: Construction Technology (separate TED release)
Lot 4: sewage pressure pipelines (separate TED release)
Lot 5: Steam turbine generator set (separate TED release)
This publication applies exclusively to lot 2 “Plant Engineering”. The lot includes the planning, delivery, construction and commissioning of the higher-level plant technology for the process separate operation of a heat pump plant (Qth: > 60 MW) and optionally a steam turbine plant (pel: ≈30 MW) for generating district heating. Plant engineering must include process engineering and electrical engineering as well as control system:
- waste water collection and accounting of up to 1,500 l/s,
- systems for steam collection and condensation as well as condensate transfer of up to 185 t/h,
- the systems for connection to the district heating network,
- the power supply systems from the site's 10kV network and
- the planning, construction and programming of higher-level control technology (Siemens T3000 or equivalent)
