Bournemouth Borough Council (“The Council”) is looking for a supplier for the delivery and coordination of all of the medical services at the Bournemouth Air Festival.
The Council does not guarantee that the Air Festival will remain the same or continue entirely. The continuation of the festival is dependent on successful funding and sponsorship for each year. Therefore, suppliers should be aware that the contract could be terminated when funding and sponsorship is not achieved. The continuation of the event in each year will be confirmed with the supplier by the 1 February in that year.
Trading and ground content takes place throughout the day and evening from 10:00 — 22:00 with the core training times being 10:00 — 18:00. The flying displays take place every afternoon ranging from 2 to 4 hours and include a mix of military and civilian content. The Night Air programme includes a dusk flying display, fireworks, Royal Navy Beat Retreat and stage entertainment.
The main event site is along Bournemouth Promenade and sandy beach stretching 1,5 miles. The event site has a secondary level on the East Overcliff. There is some set up in the Town Centre and Lower Gardens.
