In the Amsterdam port area, the Port of Amsterdam is planning to partly replace the HES quay and partly extend it for the mooring of inland vessels.

The quay to be replaced and extended is situated on the corner of the Westhaven and the Sonthaven and

consists of the following components:

- Quay along Westhaven consisting of an anchored combi wall of approx. 100 m

- Quay along the Sonthaven consisting of an anchored combi wall of approx. 28 m
