The Assignment concerns the delivery of an IT Security Monitoring Service, using an "Intrusion Detection System (IDS)" and "Intrusion Prevention System (IPS)".

The Contractor actively monitors, tests and monitors the networks and network traffic and advises the Research Council and its IT management service provider on the required improvements. If necessary, the Contractor will place IDS / IPS equipment in the networks of the Dutch Safety Board.

In the event of a serious suspicion of burglary, abuse or infection with malware, the contractor immediately warns the Research Council and the contact person of the external IT management service provider (s).

Based on historical data, the expected volume is around EUR 235,000, excluding VAT per year.
