Duisburger Versorgungs und Verkehrsgesellschaft mbH (DVV) intends to migrate the Alcatel network of the city of Duisburg into the existing HiPath telecommunications infrastructure in order to create a homogeneous telecommunications environment. Here, the changing requirements for the provider connections (All-IP, elimination of S2M cross-connections) and the extended options should also be taken into account. At the Alcatel infrastructure (central city hall) are currently further Alcatel telephone systems from various field offices connected via S2M cross-connections. The city of Duisburg also has a second plant network with its own head number (283-94000 / 283-xxxxx). After the new solution has been set up, this plant network will be connected to the existing plant (head number 283-xxxxx) so that the city of Duisburg can be reached again at all locations via a central head number. In addition, we will award the future maintenance of the equipment for a period of 24 months, there is an extension option to 36 months.
