In the city and region of Hasselt, residents and visitors, regardless of their origin, orientation, age, skill or disability, find a sustainable and high-quality leisure offer.
The leisure offer mainly responds to the rapidly changing lifestyles of our citizens, visitors & associations.
In addition, as a local government, we also want to take steps not only to expand and adapt this offer to changing needs, but also to optimize the way in which we bring this offer to our residents/visitors. By ensuring a smooth, efficient and digitised rapprochement of our leisure offerings, we as an organization will take a big step forward in our customer focus.
The scope of this project is to support reservation processes (guides, swimming pools, museum visits, sports infrastructure, sports camps, playgrounds,...), ticket sales and event management through a future-proof digital solution that can be used within multiple services of the Directorate Leisure, including necessary links with other platforms of Groep Hasselt (for accounting, purchase and stock management, notifications and work orders, relationship management, Gipod,...)
The solution will provide for a generic process from search for info, (login,) reservation/register, pay, confirm, (cancel,) to effective taking place of the leisure activity with personalizations specific to the service, where necessary.
On request, the fee regulations can be delivered. These fees can change regularly over time and the tool must be equipped to handle them flexibly.
The city is clearly committed to digitisation. This should, on the one hand, benefit the provision of services to the citizen, in this case everything related to leisure. On the other hand, the process in the back office should be so simple and easy, with centralization of data in one system and maximum automation.
