Preparation of the outdoor facilities with paved areas and plantings

Construction of the outdoor facilities after new construction of the new research building

The outdoor facilities around the new research building will be built in two sections, a large part of the earthworks, the sewage systems (gutters and point inlets) and the paved areas with the exception of the water-bound road surface are to be built from the beginning of October to the end of November 2022 (04.10. - 25.11.2022).

The remaining work (remaining earthworks, general installations, the water-bound path cover with border as a three-liner, as well as all vegetation areas (vegetation tillage, planting and seeding areas)) must be carried out in spring 2023 from the beginning of March to the end of April (06.03. - 28.04.2023).

- Preparatory ground work such as topsoil and subfloor removal, soil balancing and raw planum of approx. 2425m²

- Paved areas of approx. 900 m² such as forecourt, surrounding access, parking areas for bicycles, eaves strips, paved drainage channel and drainage trough made of gravel, incl. Enclosures and frost protection and base layers

- Green areas with wilflower meadow of approx. 970m² and planting areas of approx. 120m² incl. vegetation soil work,

4 tree plantings with tree pits and substrate, the delivery and planting of tall trunks and shrubs and the subsequent completion care

- Equipped with 2 benches and 41 bicycle support brackets,

- Drainage by means of drainage channels, façade channels and dewatering troughs made of gravel and paved gutter with point inlets
