The Leibniz Institute for Photonic Technologies e. V. announces the acquisition of 3 devices of a compact microscopy platform for multimodal nonlinear microscopy, i.e. the combination of contrast mechanisms of coherent anti-stokes Raman scattering, biphoton fluorescence and frequency doubling. The modularity of the microscope on both the software and hardware side is intended to make it easier to implement further spectroscopic and imaging techniques later, such as Raman spectroscopy and fluorescence life imaging. The tender includes all optical and mechanical components as well as control electronics and software including the source code for performing multimodal microscopic measurements. Thanks to the open device architecture, future own developments, such as new contrast mechanisms or new laser concepts, can be researched and implemented on the device.
