Bundesstraße 4 runs between Braunschweig and Gifhorn through the towns of Meine and Rötgesbüttel. In the future, these two places are to be relieved of through traffic by a four-lane bypass. In the course of this, the bw 10 bridge structure is to be built as a new building over the DB line in 1902 and a service road and the amphibian passage BW 11.
As part of the variant study, it will be investigated whether BW 10 can be combined into a building in an economically and ecologically sensible way with the amphibian passage BW 11 starting about 50 m to the south.
Design specifications on the part of the client must be implemented. The additional design and static information provided by the Client must also be taken into account.
The total costs (gross) of the construction measures amount to an estimated 12 million euros (BW 10) and 2 million euros (BW 11).
