The Procurement Services of the City of Turku Group Management requests tenders for the use of Kaarea Oy and Kaarina, Loimaa, Naantali, Paimio and Turku City and Liedo, Masku, Mynämäki, Rusko and Sauvo Municipality for the period 1.2.2022 (Objective) to 31.1.2024, after which contracts can be extended by Subscriber's decision for two (2) years for the period from 1.2.2024 to 31.1.2026 (Option). The option is about Subscriber's right not obligation.

The acquisition is divided into nine (9) subdivisions:

1. Prefabricating equipment with spare parts

2. Cooking appliances

3. Stoves, cookers, packs, frying pans

4. Refrigerators

5. Distribution furniture (neutral, cold and warm), kitchen carriages, serving carriages

6. Coffee-making equipment, small appliances

7. Dishwash

8. Railwashing machines

9. Temporary-controlled food transport and service wagon and shipyard for centralised distribution (Only Kaarea Oy)

Subdivision 9 applies only to Kaarea Oy, other municipalities/cities are not involved in the acquisition of this subdivision.

The acquisition is subject to a framework agreement in all aspects with one (1) Vendor for which one (1) deputy supplier is selected. The replacement supplier will be used if the primary supplier is not sufficient or its supply does not meet the need for procurement.

Prefabrication equipment to be acquired includes general machinery, vegetable cutters, itchers, rod mixers and scales.

Equipment to be acquired include multi-function pads and cooking pot groups.

Equipment to be acquired include combination ovens, frying pans, microwave ovens, induction stoves, etc.

Equipment to be acquired include refrigerated cabinets, instant cooling cabinets, power cooling cabinets, freezer cabinets, etc.

Distribution furniture to be acquired include cold and warm buffet wagons, milk distributor, cold water distribution wagon, heat transport wagon etc.

Coffee making equipment to be acquired include glass pan coffee makers, table coffee makers, and so-called percolators, etc.

Equipment to be acquired include dome and table dishwashers.

The acquisition involves hailwashing machines.

The procurement involves a thermal management food transport and serving wagon and a shipyard for centralised food distribution.

This Agreement applies only to Kaarea Oy, other cities and municipalities are not involved in the acquisition of this subdivision.

Subscriber shall have the right to obtain from a third party a new shipyard for the groceries and service wagons currently in use by the Subscriber, or a new food transport and service wagon in the shipyards in operation in situations where the shipyard or wagon is in use by the Subscriber is broken and where The wagon or yard provided by the supplier does not fit into the yards or wagons currently in use by the Subscriber.
