The purpose of this contract is the provision of Research and Development services in 6G technologies, within the framework of the Coordinated Project "Enablers for 6G: artificial intelligence, distributed ledger technologies and cybersecurity".
The purpose of this contract is to: provide reliability, privacy and security in 6G networks. This entails defining security requirements at the level of wireless communications, as well as at the level of control plane technologies such as software-defined networking ("SDN").
The specific works requested under this contract are:
1) Identify technical requirements for the framework of the control mechanisms on Programmable Forwarding Plans developed in the project.
2) Research oriented to the practical aspects that must be taken into account when implementing security mechanisms on various types of network components with different reliability models.
3) Design and implementation of high performance security control mechanisms on Programmable Forwarding Plans.
4) Configure and deploy a test environment for the validation of cybersecurity technologies developed in the project.
5) Maximization of the impact of the cybersecurity technologies studied in the project through participation in standardization and dissemination processes through scientific, industrial and commercial audiences, as well as the contribution to important open source communities and standardization bodies, thus allowing synergies to be explored with other initiatives and projects.
