The Samtgemeinde Zeven intends to hand over the annual amount of the sewage sludge generated in the wastewater treatment at the municipal sewage treatment plant (a total of approx. 5,000 t OS). The sewage sludge is digested sludge, which is currently dewatered to a dry matter content of 20… 25% using a chamber filter press. The sludge is conditioned by adding polymers and an iron (III) chloride solution. The continuously generated sewage sludge is to be removed regularly for the duration of the contract on a weekly basis, on a maximum of 2 weekdays to be determined in advance. There is an average of 100 t of original substance (OS) per calendar week for disposal and recycling. The duration of the contract to be concluded is 12 calendar months after the order has been placed or until the 5,000 t OS have been properly used. In the case of a cross-border shipment, the duration begins from the time of the successfully completed notification.
