As the client, the Free State of Thuringia intends to award the continuation of a comprehensive design concept of the Thuringian joint stand at the International Green Week (IGW) taking place in Berlin in January to a contractor in the form of a four-year framework agreement in accordance with § 21 of the Public Procurement Ordinance (VgV). For this purpose, an open procedure is carried out in accordance with § 119 III GWB i.V.m § 15 VgV. Trade fair construction services remain unaffected by this.
The Free State of Thuringia has been presenting itself at the IGW since 1991. With its joint presentation, the Thuringian exhibition space forms a popular showcase for Thuringia among trade fair visitors. At the Thuringian joint stand, about 35 companies from the agricultural and food industry will present their products. 10 cities and districts promote their region and rural, nature-oriented tourism and give the Free State of Thuringia the opportunity to point out examples of successful rural development. Associations and clubs are also important partners in the overall presentation. The presentation should take place from a single source and the elements must be coordinated with each other in terms of design and combined with a sustainable trade fair design.
Four-year framework agreement: The central task is the further development of a concept for the design of the Thuringian joint stand and its implementation at the International Green Week (IGW) in January in the years 2023 to 2026 in Berlin. The basic concept is already in place and is to be used as a basis for further development, with the exception of the focus area, which is located in the entrance area and can be taken from the attached systems. This is to be redesigned by the contractor. The focus of this focus presentation at IGW 2023 will be on the Weimarer Land district in Thuringia. The exhibitors' stands have to be individually adapted in terms of design. The design services also include detailed planning and detailed technical planning (individual meeting dates, determination of technical equipment requirements, planning integration of these technical means, rear wall design with print designs, etc.). The order for the design of all design objects includes in particular the graphic design of the surfaces of all areas visible to visitors. In addition, the contractor designs and delivers small items typical of the trade fair to the client. The central task includes the delivery of the conceptual and scale general design including the complete and detailed floor plan planning for the entire joint stand including all exhibition elements, taking into account the local conditions for submission to the trade fair construction company for implementation. Delivery of a model for visualization - preferably in 3D format. Defence and coordination of the planning documents with the clients and the exhibitors. Participation in meetings. The contract is divided into service phases and can be found in the procurement documents.
