The city of Öhringen is planning to build a new four-tier elementary school with a two-field school sports hall as part of the new district center in the “Limespark C” building area and is currently conducting an architects' competition with negotiated procedures.

For the services of the structural planning acc. Sections 49, 51 HOAI LPH 1-6 including property monitoring, a suitable engineering office is sought. The assignment should take place in stages.

The city of Öhringen is planning to build a new four-tier elementary school with a two-field school sports hall as part of the new district center in the “Limespark C” building area and is currently conducting an architects' competition with negotiated procedures.

Since the 2000s, the residential focus "Limespark" has been developing in the east of the city with a total of around 100 hectares. The “Limespark” forms the basis for covering the housing needs up to approx. 2050 by creating new living space for approx. 3,000 to 5,000 inhabitants in sections and according to needs. Based on the “Limespark Framework Concept” from 2003, the residential areas “Limespark A and B” and “Mannlehenfeld II” were developed between 2004 and 2015 and then completely settled.

The program area for the new primary school is around 2,900 m 2 plus approx. 1,400 m 2 for the two-field school sports hall. The four-class elementary school with 16 classes should offer space for approx. 448 students. The sponsor aims for a medium to high standard for the primary school and the sports hall. The city of Öhringen wishes z. B. the formation of a durable and less maintenance-intensive as well as ecological facade (e.g. clinker facade, etc.). A construction in wood or as a wood hybrid construction is conceivable.

The new buildings should have a high quality of use and the materials should have a high ecological and sustainable standard; this must also be taken into account when choosing the building structure. The sponsor has an energetically sensible and sustainable plan that takes into account the special usage requirements. Great importance is attached to a good CO2 balance.

A municipal local heating network is planned for the entire “Limespark”. The residents are obliged to connect their properties and buildings to the municipal district heating network - this also applies to the primary school with a sports hall.

The jury meeting of the competition is planned for May 4, 2021. A negotiation process will follow.

The four-tier elementary school and the sports hall including all outdoor areas are to be built in one construction phase and completed at the beginning of the school year 2024/2025.
