The object of the procurement is handwriting comparison studies and related services. The object of handwriting comparison is handwritten signatures, texts and/or numbers. The object of the procurement is described in more detail in the invitation to tender and its annexes, in particular in Annex 1 "Description of the object of the procurement".

The contracting authority estimates that there will be about 15-25 assignments per year and about 100-175 samples to be sent per year. It is difficult to estimate the exact number of assignments and samples to be sent, because it is not known in advance how many crimes will be committed each year that require handwriting comparisons.
