Award of a contract to an independent scientific institution to accompany and evaluate the testing of coronary lithoplasty in coronary heart disease
The purpose of the trial is to answer the question of whether coronary lithoplasty in the context of percutaneous coronary intervention with a low-pressure balloon and subsequent stent implantation is superior to alternative percutaneous procedures for the preparation of calcified coronary lesions in terms of the frequency of serious cardiovascular events after 12 months in patients with calcified, untreated coronary stenosis.
