Heat Storage II

Planning, production, installation and commissioning of a heat storage system in the combined heat and power plant of Stadtwerke Flensburg

The scope of supply and services includes a complete, functional, insulated heat storage system that complies with the specifications and is ready for use at the end of commissioning and eligible for funding according to the KWKG, which is to be delivered and built in full within the delivery limits OK concrete foundation and welding / flange of the connecting pipelines loading / unloading, steam and additional water.

In detail, this means in particular:

• Planning, calculation and construction

• Production, delivery, assembly

• Information from the Contractor on the design of the foundations for the storage tanks and pipe supports. On the basis of the Contractor's load specifications, the Client shall draw up the corresponding formwork and reinforcement plans for the foundations and foundations.

• Information from the Contractor on dead volumes and barrier layers and derived from this the net storage capacity or the usable volume.

• Earthworks, masonry, concrete and potting work, including core drilling, shall be carried out by the Client in accordance with the Contractor's instructions.

• Specialist construction management, construction and assembly supervision

• Lighting of the construction site and assembly areas

• Steel construction

• Corrosion protection, painting, sandblasting

• Thermal insulation with sheet metal jacket according to KWKG (§22 Abs. 1 Satz 3) or ≤ 15W/m^2 Heat loss. Heat loss shall be demonstrated. The sheet metal jacket is used as coated trapezoidal sheet (corrosivity category "C4" according to SP006 coating; Color of coating: RAL 9006 white-aluminum).

Alternatively, a seawater-resistant aluminum corrugated sheet is also available.

• Risers and intermediate platforms on the containers / 1 spiral staircase with a center tube, diameter 2,400 mm hot-dip galvanized (EN 1090 - EXC2)

• Stairs inside the heat storage tank

• Circumferential railing incl. anchor points on the roof of the heat storage tank

• Lighting for aisles of the containers

• System cleaning

• Tests, leak and pressure test with water

• Necessary emptying and venting lines on the containers and pipelines within the delivery

• Ready-to-use assembly within the defined delivery limits

• All measurement and control technology within the delivery limits

• Lightning protection / grounding of the container from the upper edge of the on-site foundation including an earth rope provided by the Contractor, which is installed on site according to the Contractor's specifications. Lightning protection class 3 shall be used as a basis

• Static consideration and production of mounting points as well as substructures for a photovoltaic system (load approx. 20 kg/m²)

• Commissioning and trial operation

• Documentation including the required material and test certificates in German in 3 copies as well as in file form.

1.2 Process details for heat storage:

The following basic details should be the basis for the interpretation:

• Pressureless heat accumulator with steam pad. (Steam supply up to first shut-off AN is carried out by the CLIENT)

• Min. 900 MWh heat storage capacity with 98 ° C maximum storage temperature and a return temperature of 65 ° C (Delta T 33 ° C), with a maximum hydrostatic filling height of 21.5 m + 15 cm (settlement + safety) over OK foundation and an inner diameter of 41m.

• 90 MW maximum Be- u. Entladeleistung (Delta T 33°C).
