the drafting of a metapaper on access to the labour market and social protection for persons with disabilities

In this context, BELINCOSOC (FPS Social Security) intends to call on external expertise for the drafting of a metapaper on access to the labour market and social protection for people with disabilities. There have been several SOCIEUX+ actions on this theme (16 since 1/01/2021) and the lessons learned from these actions could benefit many partner countries, especially countries in the same region. Issues related to persons with disabilities are integration into the labour market, rights at work and access to social protection (disability legislation and disability assessment).

The expert editor will work closely with the knowledge development coordinator of SOCIEUX+, Mr. Koen Vleminckx. The SOCIEUX+ Knowledge Development Coordinator, the Knowledge Development Expert and the staff responsible for the administrative coordination of the research will form the editorial committee. Other experts in the field may join if necessary. Administrative coordination will be provided by Emanuel Ferreira Da Silva.

The engagement shall include at least the following:

• In consultation with the drafting committee, determine the content of the study;

• Write a first sketch of the metapaper

• Propose in a brief methodical note the proposed approach for the validation (peer-review) of the metapaper

• Carry out the necessary analysis of SOCIEUX action reports and other sources of information.

• Write texts, possibly with the contribution of third parties;

• Proposes draft versions to the drafting committee;

• Participate in the finalization of the metapaper;

• Participate in valorization initiatives.
