The subject of the contract is the execution of construction works for the task entitled: "Reconstruction of the tram track in Obrońców Westerplatte Street in Katowice on the section from Korczaka Street to Wańkowicza Street" task No. 11.1, as part of the implementation of the Project entitled: "Integrated Project of modernization and development of tram infrastructure in the Silesian - Zagłębie Agglomeration along with the purchase of tram rolling stock - stage III" co-financed by the European Union from the Cohesion Fund under the Program Operational Infrastructure and Environment in the EU perspective 2014-2020.

1. The subject of the contract is the execution of construction works for the task entitled: "Reconstruction of the tram track in Obrońców Westerplatte Street in Katowice on the section from Korczaka Street to Wańkowicza Street" task No. 11.1, as part of the Project entitled: "Integrated Project of modernization and development of tram infrastructure in the Silesian - Zagłębie Agglomeration along with the purchase of tram rolling stock - stage III" co-financed by the European Union from the Cohesion Fund under the Program Operational Infrastructure and Environment in the EU perspective 2014-2020.

2. General characteristics of the works:

a) Development and implementation of temporary tram traffic organization, including m.in. construction of technological turnouts, including the possible construction of temporary platforms,

b) Development and implementation of temporary traffic organization,

c) Demolition works, i.e.:

- demolition of the track surface together with the substructure,

- removal and storage of debris from the demolition site with disposal,

- segregation of demolition materials (rails, sleepers, road materials),

- transport of materials from demolition,

- transport of steel scrap (from the entire range) and non-ferrous scrap to District No. 2 with its registered office in Katowice at 1 Maja 152 Street,

- securing or rebuilding collisions with underground infrastructure.

Reconstruction of the track - road system, i.e.: construction of a double-track tram track on a section of approx. 600 m (i.e. approx. 1185 mtp), located along Obrońców Westerplatte Street on the section from the place of separation of the track from the roadway in the area of Korczaka Street to the area of the intersection with Wańkowicza Street, including:

- reconstruction of tram tracks from 60R2 type rails with a gauge of 1435 mm using ballast and ballast-free technology,

- reconstruction of road crossings using ballast-free technology with a surface made of prefabricated track slabs,

- reconstruction of pedestrian crossings using ballast-free technology with a surface made of prefabricated track slabs,

- reconstruction of access to the technical facility using ballast technology with a surface made of prefabricated overlay plates,

- installation of equalization devices,

- installation of the rail lubrication system,

- construction of inter-track and intertrack connections,

- reconstruction of the roadway resulting from the reconstruction of the tram track and the construction of a "Viennese" type stop along Obrońców Westerplatte Street,

- reconstruction of traffic lights, taking into account the priority of passage for trams and restoration of existing traffic light control elements,

- repair of the bridge over the Rawa River,

- reconstruction of sidewalks along with reconstruction and adjustment of basement windows,

- reconstruction of tram stop platforms along with the replacement of bus shelters,

- installation of media belts with infrastructure for the disabled,

- adjustment of the overhead contact line resulting from the correction of the geometry of the track system,

- reconstruction and construction of track drainage along with the construction of a pumping station and connection to the existing rainwater sewage system,

- reconstruction or securing of conflicting utilities networks,

- felling of conflicting trees and shrubs to the extent necessary,

- bringing the adjacent area to a proper condition, after the completion of works.

- Introduction of temporary and target traffic organization,

- Execution of geodetic as-built inventories along with application in urban resources,

- Grinding of rails after completed mounting work of the track with the requirements of the PKP instructions (ID 104 and ID 105).
