County road 72, Darbu is situated in Øvre Eiker municipality. The existing County road 72 has a bad standard and shall be upgraded so that the road stretch can also be included as an alternative road for traffic on the E134.
The road stretch is approx. 1,5 km long. A new (concrete) bride shall be constructed over Fiskumelva and a new (concrete) culvert is to be constructed under the Sørland Railway. The access road shall be constructed in accordance with the prerequisites given in the development plan in Øvre Eiker that was adopted in 2003.
1 of the main challenges in this project will be to establish a new culvert under the railway. The work process is planned to be carried out in connection with 2 railway interruptions (50 + 50 hours gross). Sheet piling will be established during the 1
The builder has ensured that the cables in the cable channel along the railway have sufficient slack that they can be hung up/moved during the 1
Access to the site after the new culvert under the railway has been constructed will be relatively good. There are relatively good ground conditions on the part of the stretch that is on the west side of the new Fiskumelva bride, in the area by the new culvert under the railway there are bad ground conditions (see the geotechnical reports).
Estimated number of vehicles per annum on the opening date: 1 526.
