North East Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group (NELCCG) hereby invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced providers to provide carers’ support services in North East Lincolnshire for a 5 (five) year period plus a potential further 2 year extension upon agreement.

The aim of the service will be to deliver a range of accessible, high quality, cost effective services that will promote, support and improve the mental, physical and emotional well-being of all carers within North East Lincolnshire, so that they can continue in their caring role, look after their own health and wellbeing and have a life of their own.

Innovation and efficiencies in service provision for improved carer access and delivery of outcomes will be sought from prospective providers of the service, as will enhanced partnership working to provide an integrated service that works across health, social care, education, voluntary and other agencies within North East Lincolnshire, providing a seamless approach.

It is intended that the services will be provided as a “hub and spoke” model, in the form of a North East Lincolnshire Carers Centre with a presence in appropriate locations across the county, accessible to all carers within the boundaries of NELCCG. Further details of the services required can be found in Annex A of the MOI.

TUPE is likely to apply to the transfer of staff undertaking the current service provision.
