The Contracting Authority has entered into a framework agreement for the procurement of pipes, pipe parts and water and sewage materials for our own entities and installations.
There is a continual need for the delivery of pipes, pipe parts and valves for ongoing operations and maintenance on the ROR municipalities' pipeline network. The contracting authority currently has a commission store for critical parts in Molde Municipality, which is owned by the current framework agreement supplier. This must also be continued in the new framework agreement.
The framework agreement will also include a small number of HVAC and sanitation parts, but only parts for external use.
Users of the contract will be the water and sewage agencies in the municipalities, the largest user will be Molde vann og avløp KF. In addition, the contract will be used by other units in the municipalities to a minor degree, in addition to Molde Eiendom KF.
The tenderer is also required to physically label goods, and perform servicing and provide technical assistance in the contract period.
The scope and content per municipality per annum is based on the estimated expected consumption.
The contracting authority has based the volume for the framework agreement on statistics from the current framework agreement supplier for 2020. Pipes and pipe parts were procured for approx. NOK 10,700,000 excluding VAT.
Deliveries to Molde Municipality, approx. NOK 9,800,000.
Deliveries to Aukra Municipality approx. NOK 530,000.
Deliveries to Rauma Municipality, approx. NOK 350,000.
The Contracting Authority reserves the right to go outside the framework agreement for individual procurements over NOK 500,000 if required.
The volume of the service for the municipalities will vary from year to year. The estimated scope in the tender documentation is non binding for the contracting authority, nor does it give any rights to the tenderer. It is meant as an indication of the contract´s size and extent and it will be the municipalities' real need that will always determine what will be spent during the contract period.
The contracting authority is not obliged to procure a specific amount of goods in the framework agreement period, furthermore, the framework agreement in itself is not financially binding for the contracting authority. Only each individual order with a reference to the contract will bind the contracting authority financially.
