District heating primary line 60 is a main supply line in the district heating network of the city of Halle (Saale). The section in question was built in 1967 as a baseboard with pendulum supports.
Due to its location in the Saaleaue, the route was flooded several times (most recently 2013). Due to the damage caused by the flood event and the threat to security of supply in the event of new floods, the line is reinstalled as an underground KMR line.
Section A is substituted for a total length of approximately 500 m. The planned nominal diameter is 2xDN 600 KMR. The invitation to tender is limited to the underground KMR district heating pipe within section A from the western bank of the rowing canal to the front of the Saale bridge with a line length of approximately 370 m.
