The client is considering continuing the self-insurance for the WGA on 1.1.2020. Whether or not the contracting authority actually continues the self-insurance with private insurance for the WGA depends on whether the self-insurance is a (financially) more attractive option than placing the WGA financing with the UWV or taking it in-house.

The client had around 250 employees on the reference date 31.12.2018. The WIA wage bill amounts to EUR 7 019 324. The actual scope of the assignment is known after the final premium statement for WGA insurance policies.
