Heating, ventilation and plumbing work for a kindergarten with around 130 children.

The planning and execution of the entire drainage system in the building is carried out in accordance with DIN EN 12056, parts 1-5, and DIN 1986 part 100. Outside the building, DIN EN 752 also applies.

The sewage underground pipes made of KG-2000 pipe (material: PP) are laid in pipe trenches.

The supply of the building with drinking water is planned according to the provisions of the Drinking Water Ordinance of 6.1.2018, DIN 1988, DVGW and taking into account the regulations of the local authorities and suppliers.

To protect the quality of the drinking water, the safety devices required by DIN 1988 are taken into account.

The drinking water pipes in the building are laid in stainless steel pipes from the house connection room on the installation level of the ceiling.

All cold water pipes are insulated against condensation and warming from closed-cell soft foam, hot water pipes are in accordance with EnEV 100% isolated. For visual reasons and to protect against contact, the insulation is given an additional PVC jacket in the visible area

The drinking water consumption is recorded by a water meter supplied by the supplier. 6 lockable external taps are provided for the outside area.

The sanitary fittings were agreed in advance with the builders.

The hot water is generated locally via electronically controlled instantaneous water heaters.

The building is supplied with heat via a heat pump as a 3-way cascade and a gas condensing boiler in parallel operation.

The entire ground floor of the kindergarten, except for the vestibule, is heated by underfloor heating. The maximum surface temperature is 28 O C.

The calculation of the heating load and the resulting dimensioning of the heating surfaces is based on DIN EN

12831 with the following principles:

Outside air: Husum, -10 O C, strong wind area

Room temperatures: 22 O C.

System temperatures FBH: 35/28 O C.

A pressure expansion vessel will be installed in the technical room.

There will be 5 heating distribution lines.

The underfloor heating distributors are supplied via copper heating lines laid in the floor with press fittings.

The corresponding outlets to the heating circuits in the rooms go from the individual distributors.

The piping system in the heating center is made of welded steel pipe.

Hydraulic balancing of the heating system is mandatory.

The pipes and fittings are insulated in accordance with DIN 18421 and the current Energy Saving Ordinance. All pipes and fittings are individually insulated.

The required fire protection shells are used in the corresponding ceiling and wall penetrations.

The heating system is filled with demineralized, softened heating water in accordance with VDI 2035.

The heat consumption is recorded using a heat meter. The meter is delivered by the supplier.

The vestibule is equipped with a radiator.

The radiator is connected via an underfloor heating distributor. The radiator is regulated by a thermostatic valve.

The entire upper floor has radiators.

These are each regulated via thermostatic valves.

The washrooms, the dirt lock and the serving kitchen are each centrally ventilated by ventilation devices with heat recovery.

The disabled toilet, the staff toilet and the district heating connection room are equipped with individual room fans.

Ventilation pipe penetrations through ceilings and walls with fire protection requirements are implemented with approved fire dampers.

Silencers are installed inside the ventilation ducts to prevent sound transmission.

The copy room on the upper floor will have a split air conditioner consisting of an indoor and outdoor unit.
