Competitive substation maintenance services for 2022 to 2024 are provided by Savon Vää Vertikki Oy (hereinafter referred to as “KSV”) and Kuopion Electronetworking Oy (hereinafter referred to as “KSV”). An acquisition is a joint acquisition in which one (1) supplier is selected. Each subscriber enters into their own contract with the winner of the competition. The contract includes a three (3) year extension option (2025-2027), the exercise of which is agreed by joint decision of the Parties.
The acquisition will be subject to fitness inspections and maintenance work under the maintenance programmes of 45 and 110 kV substations owned by SVV and KSV, as well as failure repair preparedness, disturbance clearance and bug repair.

The acquisition includes the following products and services:
— Quarterly inspections and thermal imaging of substations
— 10-20 kV lead output maintenance (circuit breaker, separator, dimensional transformers, containment test)
— Maintenance of 45-110 kV equipment
— main transformer maintenance (coil clutch maintenance)
— relay barriers
— Exams and maintenance of acouses and auxiliary electric systems
— Maintenance of electric station properties and outdoor areas
— failure preparedness maintenance and bug fixes.
The work and services covered by the contract have mainly been produced as total products. Annual contract products include all the work stages related to the implementation of the work in question, i.e., stakeholder cooperation and documentation are included in the price of the products.
Unit prices to be competitive for the contract period are requested from tenderers accepted at the tender stage of the acquisition.
Unit prices for the contract period will be fixed until December 31, 2022, after which service and product prices will be revised for a calendar year at a time to change in cost level accordingly, up to the end of November of the previous year.
The change in labour costs is used as a basis for calculating the change in cost. The change in labor costs is calculated based on a change in the Private Sector Common Index in the Employment Cost Index (2016=100).
Unproduced works are agreed at the order stage between the subscriber and the vendor. The subscriber estimates the total number of unproduced works on the tender form.
For jobs where travel costs are not included in the unit price, the supplier will charge the cost of travel under the State Travel Rule from the location nearest to the vendor's work destination is accepted. In the event that the vendor is located outside the subscriber's power grid area, the charge of travel costs from the starting point Kuopio is accepted.
