The Finnish Border Guard invites tenders for driving licence training for students of the Border and Coast Guard School. Pupils in the school need to increase their current right to drive to category C1E if they do not already have one.
The contract is valid until 31.12.2026.

The Finnish Border Guard is asking for tenders for driving licence training for the students of the Border and Coast Guard in Immola, Imatra. Some of the school's pupils may already have the right to drive a combination of C1E vehicles, but as a rule, the trainees need to upgrade the B/BE or C driving class to category C1E.
The service must be provided in Finnish. The driving instruction and the driving test are carried out on the provider's vehicle fleet. Theory teaching can be implemented as distance/online training. The need for the service starts as soon as June.
The estimated amount to be acquired is about 100 driving class upgrades per year. The amount to be acquired depends on the number of trainees and which driving category their current driving licence entitles you to. Most likely, the vast majority of trainees have a B-license.
