The Canolfan Brailsford Sports Centre at Bangor University was refurbished and re-opened in June 2014. During that refurbishment a complete replacement of the cardiovascular (CV), resistance (selectorised and plate loaded) and free weights equipment was undertaken.

Subsequently a smaller facility ‘St Marys’ was opened in 2015 to service a new development of University accommodation approximately 1 mile from Canolfan Brailsford.

The tender for the supply and maintenance for gym equipment for both sites is now due for renewal and an installation date of w/c 16.12.2019 has been identified.

Tender submissions are sought based on a 5 year operating lease for equipment with an option to extend the servicing and warranty for a further 2 x 12 months.
