The procurement is for transport services within education and health and welfare.

The contract mainly includes the following:

— transport of elderly persons and mentally handicapped persons and physically disabled persons with mental illnesses,

— transport of children in nurseries and school pupils who do not come under the county's area of responsibility.

The need within welfare mainly comprises transport to and from day centres of elderly persons and mentally handicapped persons, physically disabled persons and persons with mental illnesses.

The need for transport within this subcontract concerns the transport of nursery children and school pupils who are not the county's responsibility according to the “Guidelines for School Transport”, and who have been granted transport in a municipal resolution.

The need for transport within this subcontract concerns the transport of school pupils and nursery children who, for example, require transport to and from swimming lessons, church, as well as longer trips such as school camps, excursions, etc.
