At the end of 2018, the Copenhagen Museum will move to new premises located in the Copenhagen Cultural Quarter, more specifically in the former Oversight Office's building at Stormgade 18, 1555 Copenhagen V.
The background is that there is a desire to make the Copenhagen Museum an international tourist destination, while at the same time creating a common platform where Copenhageners should be given the opportunity to explore their cultural heritage.
Throughout 2017 and 2018, the new premises have undergone extensive restoration, which has made great demands on the new interior of the premises, while the restoration has to be done with the respect that this is a protected building.
Against this background, there is also a desire that the permanent fixtures and the associated lighting offered with this offering both relate to and respect the new layout of the premises. This is also the reason why during the tendering process it is possible to inspect the new premises.
The contract will be concluded for a period of 2 years with the possibility of an extension of 2 x 12 months.
Immediately after the conclusion of the contract, an order will be placed for the delivery of the furniture and associated lighting, which is listed in the offer list. However, the contract must also be valid for subsequent supplementary purchases of the inventory as well as the lighting, which is why the bidder must submit unit prices in connection with the tender.
The tender is conducted as a public tender in accordance with sections 56-57 of the Offering Act (Act No. 1564 of 15.12.2015), which is why any economic operator can submit an offer.
