The contactor is required to build a three storey ward block linked to the hospitals main communication spine. The wards will be for adult inpatient care and will support both Surgical and Medical Services. There will be a shared access corridor and vertical circulation the wards will be self-contained for Mechanical and Electrical services.

The intended works will consist of the construction of the ward block on a brown-field site at Warwick Hospital where demolition and land clearance has already taken place. The building will be connected to the existing services and fully commissioned under the contract ready for occupation in October 2015 when it is anticipated the additional beds will be required.
