As part of the 345 000 000 GBP borderlands inclusive growth deal (http://www.borderlandsgrowth.com), Cumbria County Council is working with Carlisle City Council, University of Cumbria, and Cumbria LEP, and is seeking to appoint a consultant to develop scheme designs and an outline business case for the redevelopment of Carlisle Station Gateway and Citadels (Phase 2) — The Citadels.
Further work, following successful approval of the OBC, would include:
— development of employer’s requirements for the appointment of a design and build contractor to advance the project from RIBA Stage 2,
— provide client technical advice and perform role of NEC3 Project Manager during the delivery of the D&B contract.
Or:
— architecture to RIBA Stage 3 and submission of full planning application,
— development of contract documents for Build Contract and supervision of the works.
Or:
— production of development information and design requirements to inform a development agreement with third party developer.
Cumbria County Council is seeking a multi-disciplinary consultant to provide: Architecture to RIBA stage 2, economic assessment and production of a robust outline business case.
Scheme development to support the OBC will include:
— master planning, and urban design, and
— multi-disciplinary services and surveys, to support the OBC.
Further work, following successful approval of the OBC, would include 1 of the following:
— development of employer’s requirements for the appointment of a design and build contractor to advance the project from RIBA Stage 2,
— provide client technical advice and perform role of NEC3 project manager during the delivery of the D&B contract.
Or:
