The project consists of the realization of a new wave attenuator in place of the existing structure. The current structure consists of floating and sliding boxes on metal piles. In its initial configuration, the wave attenuator consisted of 7 floating metal boxes (dimensions of a box: 12 mx 5 mx 4.66 m weight 52 tonnes) guided on 14 metal piles. The obsolescence of the structure led to the ruin of 2 piles and today the structure works with 5 caissons in place.
The proposed solution must retain visual transparency and a fixed type work is not possible. The project will be able to use elements from the current structure such as the caissons, after restoration, thereby limiting the cost of the operation.

In its initial configuration, the wave attenuator consisted of 7 floating metal boxes (dimensions of a box: 12 meters in length, 5 meters in width, 4.66 meters in height each weighing approximately 52 tonnes) guided on 14 piles metallic. The obsolescence of the structure led to the ruin of 2 piles and today the structure works with 5 caissons in place. To keep the current structure in working order, heavy maintenance operations are necessary each year. They consist of putting dry, via a sea barge, a box for maintenance (fairing, change of pads, replacement of anodes ...).
