A mechanical room for water treatment plant shall be blasted out in the south bound lanes. A cross-cut shall also be blasted out between the tunnel lanes. A hole will be drilled from the water treatment plant to the sewage tunnel, and a hole to the manhole at Jernbaneveien. A receiving pit must be established In connection with drilling down to Jernbaneveien.
Barriers and sign portals will be set up in the open air zones north and south of the tunnel
The works shall be executed with one and one lane closed, while the tunnel is open for two way traffic in the opposite lane. The closure will cause major traffic challenges in the area. It is therefore emphasised that the works shall be executed as soon as possible.
